Frost declaimed in fire or ice
The world was doomed to end
No other way was to suffice
We're taught now to depend
On that prediction, true or faux
Despite our own belief
We’ll fight to find a way, although
We will not find relief
From any pain we’re doomed to take
Or hurt we’re cast to feel
Whether the hand of man, or fate
The day will soon be real
In which the earth is wrapped in flame
Or cooled and calmed by snow
The outcome will remain the same
In that, we’ll never know.
